
Tributes are being paid to the former Douglas councillor and mayor Alfred Duggan, who has died at the age of 95.
Mr Duggan (pictured) served on the council for 17 years, and while mayor, he attended more than 780 functions in twelve months.
'A man with a heart of gold' and a 'true gentleman' are among the fond tributes from friends and family.
