Trio await sentencing over part in drug-dealing operation

All bailed to appear again in December

Three women from Douglas and Onchan will be sentenced in the Court of General Gaol Delivery over their part in a cannabis-dealing operation.

Twenty-year-old Phoebe Ross McKee, 25-year-old Sophie Dorothy Harrington and 23-year-old Nadine Rebecca Wade appeared at Douglas Courthouse.

Harrington, of Derby Road in Douglas, and McKee, of School Road in Onchan, admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply it, while Wade, of Loch Promenade, admitted possessing more than £5,900 in criminal property.

All three pleaded guilty to being unlawfully concerned in the supply of cannabis.

The court heard police raided Wade's address on the morning of May 13 – a search found cannabis bush with a street value of more than £240.

Later that day officers executed a warrant at the flat shared by McKee and Harrington discovering around £2,800 worth of the class B drug.

All three had their phones seized by police and officers found messages related to dealing drugs.

The trio was bailed and committed to appear again on 17 December.
