Welfare Trust surprised at move

A doctor says trust has been 'destroyed' by a decision to relocate endoscopy services in the north of the Island.

Andrew Kelsey was one of a number of people to give evidence to a Tynwald committee on the matter yesterday (Thu).

He says the plan to consolidate services at Noble's Hospital 'surprised' members of the Ramsey Cottage Hospital Welfare Trust - of which he is the chairman - leaving them with no choice but to temporarily suspend funding.
