One vacancy remains on the Legislative Council.
East Douglas MHK Phil Braidwood (20 votes) was elected at the first time of asking and two members seeking re-election, Alex Downie and Dudley Butt, successfully polled 15 votes in the second and third ballot respectively.
However, after the 10th round of voting, in which none of the remaining candidates were successful, Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan called for fresh nominations which have to be submitted by April 15.
In the final round, Alan Crowe and George Waft, both bidding to keep their place on the Council, polled 11 and seven respectively, still short of the 13 required.
