A Manxman in Malaysia has described how locals jammed the roads after tsunami warnings were issued following two earthquakes today.
Steve Noon is in Penang, Malaysia’s second-smallest state, and was on the beach when the earthquakes hit.
However, he found out about the tsunami warnings when friends in Kuala Lumpur contacted him – and he decided to take his young daughter and seek higher ground.
Steve says everything turned out fine, but that didn’t stop widespread panic among locals.
