A football club in the south of the Island has applied for permission to transform its ground into a temporary campsite.
Rushen United says it wants to use its land at Croit Lowey to accommodate up to 40 tents and 90 people during the TT, Festival of Motorcycling and Southern 100.
The club says if approved, the plans would mean campers could use its changing rooms and shower facilities 24 hours a day – although it adds every effort would be made to reduce noise and nuisance to its neighbours.
You can find out more about the plans online on the government’s website gov.im.
