Sidecar champion will speak to students as part of drive to recruit new volunteers for vital motorsport safety role
A recruitment event aimed at attracting new scrutineers for motorcycle racing is being held for students at University College Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man Scrutineers Association will host the session tomorrow (8 May), from 2pm at the William Kennish Motor Vehicle Workshop.
Scrutineers play a key safety role in motorsport, ensuring motorcycles, rider equipment and components meet technical and safety regulations.
The event will also feature TT legend Dave Molyneux - the most successful sidecar competitor in the event’s history - who will display one of his classic racing outfits and speak with students about the role.
