Senior race to be restarted over four-lap distance tomorrow (6 June)
Isle of Man TT Races organisers have announced a revised schedule for tomorrow (6 June) which includes the rearranged Senior TT.
Tomorrow, the Mountain Road section of the Snaefell Mountain Course is due to shut from 9am before all highways around the course close at 10am.
After that will be a one-lap free practice at 10.45am before the rescheduled Senior TT at 12pm which is once again set to be held over a four-lap distance.
Saturday will then conclude with the three-lap Sportbike TT Race 2 at 3pm.
All roads around the course - except for the Mountain section - will reopen no later than 9.30pm before all roads - including the Mountain section - are open no later than 10.30pm.
This evening (6 June) the Senior TT initially got underway but was halted on the second lap due to a red flag incident at the 11th Milestone.
The rider involved in the incident, as of this evening, is reported as 'conscious and talking' and was taken to Noble's Hospital via Airmed for further assessment and treatment.
*** UPDATE Friday 10pm ***
Following an improvement in the forecast for Saturday, and with heavy showers and low cloud now expected on Sunday, the Clerk of the Course has confirmed that the contingency period previously identified for Sunday will not be utilised.
