Quing to host event at the Nunnery
A two-day conference on trauma, recovery, and community is taking place at the Nunnery tomorrow (12 April).
Mental health charity Quing has organised the series of events, held at the University College Isle of Man campus.
Talks and workshops will be given by leading figures in the mental health field, including Cormac Russell, who developed the method of asset based community development - a main feature of the event.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Graham Clucas from Quing explained why building upon a person's strengths rather than weaknesses is a key theme of the event:
Those who attend are asked to leave a donation if they can afford it- to book a place contact Graham from Quing on 246713 or email graham@quing.im
