Government confirms IoM will join UK in marking the occasion
A two-minute silence to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day will be observed on the Isle of Man this week.
The Isle of Man Government has confirmed it plans to join the UK in marking the occasion at 11am on Friday.
A bugler and piper will play 'The Last Post' from the summit of Snaefell, while Chief Minister Howard Quayle will deliver a statement of commemoration on behalf of the Manx people.
