Two more locations identified as visited by Covid-positive person

Individual visited casino and food shop after completing quarantine period

Two further locations have been identified as being visited by a person who tested positive for coronavirus after completing their 14 days self-isolation.

The individual was free to enter the community after finishing their quarantine, but has since been found to have the illness.

The Isle of Man Government says the risk to the public remains low, but those who were visiting or working in the locations during the relevant times are asked to self-isolate and contact 111 if they develop symptoms of Covid-19.

Those who don't have symptoms do not need to get in touch with the Covid line.

Typical symptoms of coronavirus include a new and persistent cough, a temperature of more than 37.8C and the loss of smell or taste.

The new locations are:

Thursday, 24 December 2020:

9pm to 10pm - the casino at the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino, Central Promenade

Monday, 28 December 2020:

8.15pm to 9.45pm  -the casino at the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino, Central Promenade

Tuesday, 29 December 2020:

1pm to 3pm - Robinsons, Cooil Road, Braddan
