MHK says impact on residents will be factored in
Motorcycling chiefs are proposing two new practice sessions if there are delays to the TT schedule.
Following numerous cancellations and disruption at last year's event, the Department for Enterprise is considering the idea and will now consult with stakeholders.
It's suggesting the 27 May and 1 June as extra dates for the TT 2018.
Member with responsibility for Motorsport Rob Callister says the department will factor in the impact on residents, but riders need the practice:
The Department is also inviting the public to submit their views by emailing motorsport@gov.im
