Regulator has until April to introduce it
Tynwald members have voted to rebalance gas prices for customers and impose new regulations by the end of April.
It's after government and Manx Gas failed to finalise an agreement approved in principle last year.
The Communications and Regulatory Utilities Authority has been asked to bring forward the regulation.
A motion by Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas was amended by Middle MHK Bill Shimmins to include the April deadline.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper said the debate had a familiar feel:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
