Regulator has until April to introduce it
Tynwald members have voted to rebalance gas prices for customers and impose new regulations by the end of April.
It's after government and Manx Gas failed to finalise an agreement approved in principle last year.
The Communications and Regulatory Utilities Authority has been asked to bring forward the regulation.
A motion by Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas was amended by Middle MHK Bill Shimmins to include the April deadline.
