Similarities highlighted by academics
Similarities between the situation regarding abortions in the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland have been highlighted this week.
Three academics who have studied the issue in Northern Ireland and produced a report on it have addressed Tynwald members.
They were invited over by Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson.
One of them, Dr Fiona Bloomer, says there seems to an appetite for reform there:
