Normanday veteran celebrating 100th birthday
The President of Tynwald has paid tribute to Normandy veteran Hector Duff, who is celebrating his 100th birthday today.
Steve Rodan visited Mr Duff, who also spent time as a police officer and railway worker, to present him with a birthday card from Tynwald members.
He received the Military Medal for Bravery for his service in World War II, and remained with the army in Germany after the end of the conflict.
