Tynwald questions include roads, graduates and school behaviour

16 down for oral answer

A range of issues feature on this month's Tynwald question paper, with most coming from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.

Mr Moorhouse has eight queries, which include questions about when improvements to the road near the Fairy bridge will start, how many graduates Government has employed in the past three years, the next assessment dates available at the test centre and whether people can delay the installation of smart meters.

There’s a question about who has the responsibility for behaviour policies in schools from fellow MHK Tim Glover.

Mr Glover also wants to know what support is available for people between coming off benefits and starting a new job.

Among the other questions on the paper are some from Douglas North MHK David Ashford, who wants to know about e-scooters on public highways, modular housing for key workers and what's being done to stop the deterioration of the Castlemona.

Question time gets underway at 10:30 this Tuesday, you can listen live on Manx Radio’s AM 1368 frequency or at manxradio.com
