Tynwald to mark death of Attorney General with moment of silence

Extra sitting called to consider Coronavirus regulations

Tynwald is expected to fall silent today to mark the death of MLC John Quinn.

The Isle of Man's Attorney General died following a short period of illness.

President Laurence Skelly says he will organise the tribute during an extra sitting of the court which has been called to consider Coronavirus regulations.

Home Affairs and Justice Minister, and former MLC, Jane Poole-Wilson says Mr Quinn will be sadly missed:

The Tynwald sitting will take place at 2.30pm.
