Student campaigners attempt to reduce plastic waste
A group of student campaigners are trying to help change the way young people use plastic.
'UCM Plastic Champions,' from University College Isle of Man, have helped it become free of single-use plastic bottles, cutlery, cups and containers, and become more recyclable-friendly.
The students say the idea came after they attended a government training session on how to reduce plastic waste.
The young people are also being provided with reusable plastic bottles, and UCM has increased the number of water fountains on campus.
