Former CM discounted welcoming Syrian refugees
The Isle of Man will engage with the UK Government over offering more assistance to the people fleeing war in Ukraine.
A Ukraine Relief Committee, chaired by the cabinet office minister, has been set up to co-ordinate communications and consider options.
The chief minister has confirmed this may include welcoming refugees to Manx shores - something dismissed in relation to Syrian refugees by Alfred Cannan's predecessor.
