Major Shane Lucas will be at the Manx Museum this weekend
An underground explorer is set to share his life experiences in a talk this weekend.
Major Shane Lucas will detail his experiences of 'the hidden world beneath the Island's landscape' at the Manx Museum on Sunday (21 June).
It's to complement the Mann Underground exhibition currently running at the museum.
Major Lucas, a former British Army Officer, moved to the Island in 1976 with a fascination of cave diving but instead he found mines:
The talk is set to feature 'stories of discovery, resilience and adventure, alongside insights into the inspiration behind his artwork and lifelong fascination with the Island’s subterranean world.'

'A Full Life - An Afternoon with Major Shane Lucas' is taking place at the Manx Museum Lecture Theatre on Sunday (21 June) from 2pm to 3pm.
