The public is being given the chance to take a peek into the normally private space of an artist.
The Western Open Studios and Arts Trail, or WOSAT, is on the first May bank holiday.
It features more than 40 artists at 18 locations in Dalby, Kirk Michael, Patrick, Peel and St Johns.
The Arts Council supported event is in its third year, and allows people to not only watch an artist at work, but also to take part as well.
Matt Owen says the aim is to make Manx visual art as popular as music and theatre.
Wosat is running from 3rd to the 5th of May.
