Saturday will see a jam-packed day of racing
The Race Organisers of the 2023 Manx Grand Prix have confirmed a revised schedule for Saturday (26 August), after rain disrupted proceedings during today’s final qualifying session.
Roads around the TT Mountain Course will close at 11am.
There will then be a Warm Up Lap for Manx Grand Prix competitors at 11:30am, immediately followed by a 1-lap Sidecar TT tyre test as final preparations take place for the opening Manx GP race.
The Carole Nash Classic Senior Race will get underway at 12:45pm, over a shortened distance of 3-laps.
The reduction in race distance has been made as a result of the busy schedule and follows consultation with teams and riders from the class.
The MGP Supporters’ Club Junior Manx Grand Prix follows at 2:45pm over the full, 4-lap race distance.
A 'Made at the Manx' parade lap will then follow, which will see 15 riders represent 100 years of racing.
The evening's racing will conclude at 6pm, when the rescheduled Sure Lightweight Race is set to be flagged away over the full 3-lap distance.
Roads are then due to re-open no later than 9pm.
