Tynwald President delivers eulogy
A great Manxman will be remembered in America today (Sunday) on the 155th anniversary of his death.
A new memorial stone is to be unveiled at a Brooklyn cemetery, the final resting place of noted poet, engineer and inventor William Kennish.
He died in New York on March the 19th, 1862, and was buried in a unmarked grave, having emigrated to the United States 13 years earlier.
Tynwald president Steve Rodan says he is honoured to be presenting the eulogy at the ceremony.
