Vaccine rollout will 'start with vulnerable' and take 'four to six months'

Director of Public Health explains inoculation strategy

The rollout of a coronavirus vaccine on the Isle of Man will start with the most vulnerable, and take four to six months to complete.

Director of Public Health Dr Henrietta Ewart, speaking at the latest government conference, explained plans to start the programme next month.

It's as two potential vaccines; one from Pfizer and BioNTech, and the one developed in Oxford by AstraZeneca, are passing through regulatory stages.
