Vandalism in and around the capital

Police are appealing for witnesses after vandals struck three times in Douglas over the weekend.

On Friday graffiti was scrawled on a wooden garden fence on Watterson Lane.

Overnight on Saturday, a white van parked in Springfield Avenue had its windscreen smashed and also on Saturday night, or Sunday morning, a blue Ford Fiesta was damaged while parked in Strathallan Road, Onchan.

If you have information on any of those incidents, you are asked to ring police on 631212.
