Two-day event reflects on wartime effort
Around 70 veterans will take a trip on the steam train today as the Island pays tribute to the wartime effort.
Island At War sees re-enactments, exhibitions and military vehicles on display across the Isle of Man over the next two days.
Activities will be based at Douglas Railway Station, Castletown Station and in Port Erin, while local historian Charles Guard will be leading a bus tour in the south of the Island.
While the event happens every year, Isle of Man Railways Events Co-ordinator Anji Street says there'll be some new activities on offer this year:
All activities take place between 10am and 4.30pm today and tomorrow. Full details of all Island At War events can be found here.
