DOI to remove tree stumps from pavement on Glencrutchery Road
Visitors to Douglas Borough Cemetery are being asked to avoid the main entrance tomorrow (21 April) as work is being done on the pavement directly outside.
Workers will be boring out and removing tree stumps from the area on Glencrutchery Road.
The Department of Infrastructure says once all stumps are removed, the voids will be temporarily filled with soil and sawdust and marked with cones until the pavements can be resurfaced.
Visitors are asked to use the southern entrance to the cemetery (a few metres closer to St Ninian's) whilst the work is underway.
