Sunken gardens maintenance to begin
Repairing the walls of the sunken gardens on Loch promenade has been given the go-ahead.
They were damaged by Storm Barra in December of last year and will cost in the region of £200k to put right.
Douglas Borough Council leader, Claire Wells, says it's taken until now to get the go-ahead from insurers to begin the work:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
