CEO of Manx Gas' parent company says it's simply down to supply and demand
Jo Cox, the CEO of Manx Gas’ parent company, says the 58 per cent hike in gas prices won’t be felt as significantly by most due to warmer weather.
Speaking on the breakfast show with Ben and Sian, she blamed the war in Ukraine for the rises.
She says whilst the Isle of Man's supply doesn't come from Russia, demand for gas has increased as many countries attempt to reduce their reliance on Russian gas:
