Public now has nine weeks instead of four to submit feedback
A public consultation on the future of waste on the Isle of Man has been extended because the initial period wasn't in line with government's consultation principles.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the waste strategy principles consultation will now be open for nine weeks instead of four.
Responding to a Tynwald question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse, Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall said this was due to an oversight.
The consultation will remain open until 21 October.
