Video shows tragedy narrowly avoided
Police have recovered a car that went over a cliff on Marine Drive last month.
The crash on January 23 sparked a huge response from the emergency services – even Douglas lifeboat was called out after it was feared one or more occupants may have been thrown out of the car.
Today police officers say the car, which travelled some distance down towards the sea, has been recovered using a crane.
Their video footage of the recovery shows just how lucky all three inside the car were to walk away with only minor injuries.
