'We don't make a profit from the sale of plastic bottles'

RGS head says £20,000 figure is canteen revenue

Pupils in the north of the Island hope to eradicate plastic bottle waste in their school.

A petition signed by more than half of Ramsey Grammar School students is to be presented to the chief minister on Friday.

It asks government to help them remove single-use water bottles, in place of reusable ones - without a cost to the running of the school.

Head teacher Annette Baker wants to be clear about the budget implications:
