Heavy rain and gales forecast
A weather warning for the weekend has been issued by the Met Office at Ronaldsway.
Spells of heavy rain right through Saturday and through part of Sunday could cause localised flooding and significant standing water on the roads, particularly where drains are blocked by leaves.
Rainfall amounts for Saturday are forecast to be 20 to 30 mm at low levels but up to 60 mm over the hills.
Sunday will bring a further 15-20 mm but 30 to 40 mm over higher ground.
In addition, the Met Office says strong to gale-force south-west winds will bring further debris off trees and lead to waves breaking over sea walls on exposed promenades and roads at high tides.
Tides peak at 12:35pm on Saturday and at 1am and 1.13pm on Sunday
