What contingency plans are there for FlyBe routes?

TravelWatch asks government - but no reply yet

Passenger group TravelWatch says it's asked government about contingency plans should flights to Manchester and Liverpool stop - but has yet to receive a reply.

Yesterday it was confirmed FlyBe - which flies the key routes off the Island - was putting itself up for sale after severe profit warnings.

The passenger group says it'd been watching the share price plummet with concern and has worries about the routes it flies including the busiest - Manchester.

However, aviation spokesman for TravelWatch, Terry Liddiard, says Liverpool is also a key strategic flight.
