West Douglas MHK John Shimmin thinks so in the wake of a debate about Tynwald members’ pensions.
Yesterday, the court voted to make the pensions contributory from April this year, although it’ll only be compulsory for new members who join after that date.
Mr Shimmin says the debate outside the corridors of power has been unpleasant.
