Sentence on an 18-year-old woman who assaulted a police officer has been adjourned.
Loryn Walker, of Queen's Pier Road in Ramsey, admitted biting Constable Kevin Quirk.
The court heard he was called to a property in the town with another constable, after Walker refused to leave.
Walker shouted abuse at the constables and threw herself to the ground, taking both officers with her.
She then bit Pc Quirk on the hand, breaking his skin.
Because she was struggling violently, incapacity spray was used and she was arrested.
Her advocate asked for a social report and produced letters Walker had sent to the two officers.
Deputy high bailiff Alastair Montgomerie warned Walker custody was possible because it was an assault on police.
