Debt problems led a Douglas woman to steal £2,500 from her employer.
Twenty-six year-old Roisin Devlin, of Brunswick Road admitted taking the money from the Principals store between January and July.
The court heard she used various methods to steal the money and admitted the offence once arrested.
She was bailed until November 18 for reports to be prepared.
