Women report concerns about a man's behaviour to police

Police in the west of the Island are trying to identify a man whose actions have been reported to them on several occasions in recent weeks.

Whilst no-one has been threatened or assaulted . . several women have reported being uncomfortable and concerned at his presence.

The incidents have occurred around lunchtime on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the area of Patrick village, Raggatt Park and the nearby old railway lines just outside Peel.

The man who was spotted was partially clothed on some occasions and at other times dressed in a way which made the women who saw him feel uncomfortable.

He is described as white, 25 - 35 years old, around five feet ten inches tall, with either an English or Manx accent. He was wearing a dark beanie hat, blue coat and dark coloured tight fitting leg wear and on at least one occasion had a neatly trimmed beard.

Police Sergeant Gavin Callow from Peel police says it's an unusual incident

Police are asking the public to avoid any speculation about the matter and  pass any information directly to Peel Police station, Police Headquarters or any Police officer.
