After the result was declared in yesterday's East Douglas by-election, celebrity chef Kevin Woodford said he wasn't surprised to finish third.
The by-election, won by Chris Robertshaw with Liberal Vannin candidate Kate Beecroft second, was overshadowed by the controversy of proxy vote applications and the role of secret trusts.
Mr Woodford told Marian Kenny those issues proved to be major distractions:
