Four-phase project has April completion date
Work to resurface the southern end of Douglas promenade will begin early next month.
The department of infrastructure has confirmed the operation will be carried out in four phases, starting on Friday 3 March.
Around three metres of existing road surface either side of the horse tram tracks will be planed and an asphalt replacement laid down between the Sea Terminal and Broadway.
Only the driving lane will be resurfaced, with the work set to be complete by Saturday 1 April.
