Bigger piece of work needed to ensure long-term change, says MHK
Work is underway to ensure healthcare services are more accessible to those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Earlier this month (June) the Island held its first pride event which around 9,000 people attended.
Isle of Pride organisers say there now needs to be a bigger piece of work to ensure long-term progress here.
Douglas East MHK Clare Barber, who serves on the event's committee, says health services are one area currently being looked at:
Doctors accept three-year pay offer
Seven acts promulgated in final Tynwald Day ceremony before election
Sharp rise in data breaches on Island, says Information Commissioner's Office
Footage circulating on social media 'now an active investigation'
