World record swimmer stops on the Island to refuel

A female swimmer and the youngest woman to row alone across the Atlantic will continue with her world record challenge today as she departs the Isle of Man. 

Jasmine Harrison, from the UK, started her journey at the end of June leaving Land's End and she aims to swim all the way to John O'Groats - a feat that will end in September. 

She will be the first female and only the third person to do this.

Miss Harrison stopped on the Island on Tuesday to rest and refuel before heading out.
