Maths teacher praised for quick thinking
A secondary school pupil had to be flown to a hospital in Liverpool last week after choking on a pen lid during the last week of term.
It led to the head teacher of Ballakermeen High School writing to parents before the school broke up on Friday.
Adrienne Burnett said the year seven student - Aaron - was incredibly lucky to be helped by his maths teacher Mr Price:
Aaron's mum told Manx Radio the situation could have been so much worse:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
