Strong south west winds will increase to gale force in the afternoon before increasing to severe gale force in the evening.

A mean wind speed of 40-50mph,with gusts of 55-65mph, is likely with 70mph possible in the most exposed spots.

There’s a risk of fallen trees causing disruption to travel as well as minor structural damage to buildings.

The majority of tomorrow’s sailings have been cancelled as a result of the incoming storm – you can find out more HERE.
