Forecasters warn tomorrow's conditions may lead to flooding

Forecasters are warning of a risk of flooding when a band of heavy rain hits the Island.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been put in place from 6am until 9pm tomorrow.

Ronaldsway Met Office says 20-30mm of rain is forecast, with up to 50mm over the hills.

With the ground already saturated, it's expected there'll be quick runoff, resulting in rising river levels and surface water flooding.

The Isle of Man Government says it will be monitoring the rainfall tomorrow morning especially in areas where drainage is poor or blocked.
