ACUE secures new 10-year deal as TT Race Organiser

Responsibilities will cover 'all elements of racing' on Snaefell Mountain Course

Auto-Cycle Union Events Ltd has secured a new 10-year deal to remain as race organiser of the Isle of Man TT Races.

The agreement will see the organisation continue in the role up to the conclusion of the 2033 event - 25 years after first taking responsibility for delivering the races in 2008.

The process will continue to be led by Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson.

ACUE's ongoing responsibilities will cover all elements of racing on the Snaefell Mountain Course including course preparation, controlling on-course activity, providing marshal and medical cover as well as appointing race officials and training newcomers.

Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston says the TT 'continues to enjoy consistent growth across many areas' despite 'a backdrop of ever-increasing pressures.'

He adds the long-term strategic delivery of the racing fortnight has allowed them to make this long-term commitment with ACUE as well as the TTMA and Manx Road Racing Medical Services.

The 2024 Isle of Man TT Races are scheduled to take place from 27 May to 8 June.
