Onchan has a second requisition meeting this evening (Wednesday) after the one last night was overwhelmed by people wanting to take part.
Around 370 voters turned up at the Elim Family Centre to hear from the six candidates but, when the doors had to be closed ten minutes before the scheduled start, 150 were left outside.
All the candidates will be at the venue on Second Avenue again from 7.30 this evening, and organisers are appealing for those who did get in last night to stay at home.
In alphabetical order, the six candidates in Onchan are Adrian Earnshawn, Zac Hall (Liberal Vannin), Peter Karran (Liberal Vannin), June Kelly, David Quirk and Brian Stowell.
The general election is tomorrow (Thursday), with polling booths opening at 8am.
