'Review government spending', says candidate

The son of a retiring MHK says a comprehensive review of government spending is a priority should he be successful in September's general election.

Alf Cannan will contest the Michael seat his father David is vacating after nearly 29 years in office.

There are two other candidates in Michael so far, Paul Heavey and David Talbot.
