Andrews and Harris tribute planned for Snetterton

The British Superbike Championship round at Snetterton this weekend will pay tribute to two popular paddock members who've recently lost their lives road racing.

Simon Andrews and Karl ‘Bomber’ Harris will be honoured with a flypast of a B-17 Flying Fortress and a Tornado GR4 from RAF Marham.

Andrews passed away in hospital, two days after crashing at the North West 200.

He traditionally ran the number 17, meaning it will be a poignant tribute to the Evesham man, who rode for the RAF Reserves Honda team.

Harris died following a crash in last week's Superstock TT.

He spent most of his career in the BSB paddock.

The RAF Reserves Honda Fireblade and Harris’s GR Racing Aprilia will be on display at the circuit.

The flypast is scheduled for just after 1pm on Sunday.
