
Nigel Armstrong has won the tenth and final round of the Rentokil Manx Fell League.
On a difficult course from Ballure reservoir to the top of North Barrule, the Manx Harriers runner took victory from friend and rival Simon Skillicorn by 44 seconds.
Peter Bradley was third.
Julie Cretney took the ladies win with Oliver Lockley taking the junior honours in an excellent seventh overall.
Armstrong admitted it had been tough going.
